"True Blue . . . baby, I love you..."

I am in love with this furniture that was recently listed on Ebay. Sadly, I didn't win the auction, but have decided to transform some old furniture and imitate the finish used on these chest of drawers. You can pick up any old 'brown' type furniture cheaply and transform it using no more than a paintbrush, some paint and a few new knobs! More information on transforming furniture can be found on the blog 'My Romantic Home'; http://romantichome.blogspot.com/2007/08/painting-furniture-step-by-step.html

  1. Thank you for stopping by and for taking the time to comment!

I am still learning a lot too about blogging. But one of the best ways to grow your blog is to join link parties where you link up your weekly projects...I host one on Friday's and a ton of other crafty blogs host parties on various days as well. It's a great way to get your blog visible and meet other great bloggers!

I love your turquoise dresser!! I love redoing furniture!!

  2. Are the peices you've done or your inspiration for what you're about to do? They are so charming.

  3. Hi, I wish I had done these they are so beautiful! It's inspiration for a piece I'm away to do :) I've got an old side table in a mahagony colour that I'm going to transform into the same style as these drawers (paint effect, knobs etc) - then I'll post the results for everybody to compare! Thanks for visiting :)
